North Shore Community Church

The Seventh-Day Adventist Church has a sacred duty to share the gospel to the community as part of its mission to spread the message of salvation and hope to all people. Jesus Himself commanded His disciples to go into all the world and preach the good news to every creature. This mandate has been passed down through the generations to all believers, and it is a responsibility that should not be taken lightly. The gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, and it is the duty of the church to proclaim this life-transforming message to those who have not yet heard it.

Sharing the gospel with the community is essential for the Burnaby Filipino-Canadian SDA and North Shore Church Plant to fulfill its purpose and mission in North Vancouver and surrounding communities. This message has the power to transform lives and bring healing and restoration to individuals, families, and communities.

North Shore Church Plant has a unique role to play in sharing the gospel with the community, as it is a place where people can come together to worship, learn, and grow in their faith. By sharing the gospel with the community, the church can reach out to those who are searching for meaning and purpose in their lives and offer them a message of hope and salvation.

At North Shore, resource persons were invited to reflect their professional expertise and passion and learn from experience and knowledge they share.

Believers who wait for Jesus not only possess a deep faith in his return, but also strive to understand and discern what the future holds. Through studying scripture, prayer, and seeking guidance from the Holy Spirit, these believers learn to interpret signs and prophecies that may indicate the imminent return of Jesus. By staying vigilant and knowledgeable about what is to come, they are better prepared to face the challenges and trials that may lie ahead. Ultimately, these believers understand that knowing the future is not about predicting specific events, but rather about being spiritually attuned and ready for the second coming of Jesus.

As Christians and believers, it is our duty to be vigilant and watchful for the return of Jesus Christ. There are clear signs given in the Bible that indicate his imminent return, such as wars and rumors of wars, natural disasters, and the spread of false prophets. It is important not to ignore these signs and to keep our hearts and minds focused on the coming of our savior. We must remain steadfast in prayer, studying the Word, and living a life that reflects our faith in preparation for the return of Jesus.Ignoring these signs could lead us to be caught off guard and unprepared for his return. Let us not be complacent or distracted, but rather be diligent in our faith and watch eagerly for the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
