People of any walks of life and belief receive food, protection and all things people needs. We delight ourselves in the Lord and He gives us the desires of our heart ( Psalm 37:4).
Many times, abundance and busy lifestyle forget us to give thanks of what we have. Several group of people believed to kicked off feast like thanksgiving. Canadian leaders officially observed Thanksgiving as a national holiday.
Early 1992 several Christian organizations came together with a goal in mind of showing appreciation for pastors who often go unrecognized for their dedication and compassionate service. Pastor Appreciation Month is a worldwide event to recognize and honors Pastors, staff and their families.
North Vancouver and Burnaby FilCan SDA church celebrated both special day on October 7 with an aim to give thanks and give glory to God for the bountiful year. Also to appreciate the unbounding service of our beloved Pastor Theody Malabanan, and family.
Selected members sets the mood for thanksgiving worship and members with God-given talents contributed to an awesome program.
Mylene leads the way to joyful praise worship. Followed by excellent musical renditions and messages praising God's goodness we enjoyed thru the years.
God intends for all of us, as His children, to walk through our lives abundantly blessed. Yet, it’s up to us to take it by faith, just like the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25-34). She didn’t beg for it… she didn’t even ask permission! She grabbed hold of His truth, took what she needed from Jesus, and immediately received her healing miracle.
