"Reading the Bible TOGETHER"
Enthusiastic members of Burnaby Filipino-Canadian SDA Church and North Shore Church Plant received their recognition certificate and Achiever’s t-shirt for participating in the Bible reading plan and review quiz every Saturday afternoon. It took them to read the whole Bible for more or less 2 years and the culmination and awarding ceremony was held last September 30 in the afternoon at Burnaby Fil-Can Church.
Brother Oscar Piloneo, Linson Pedernal, Abner Olit and other members’ testimonies gave inspiring messages and words of encouragement to study daily the Word of God and share the truth and God’s love to anyone.

Pastor Theody Malabanan, our ever-supportive pastor, encouraged all members to join Bible study and other programs of the church. The aim of the program is to get every member into the habit of daily Bible reading and to strengthen their faith. Goodwin Burce prepares a review quiz every Sabbath afternoon where every participant can join the quiz using their cellphone app and other gadgets with internet access to read the question and send their responses. Participants can log in to the app and join the quiz even if they are not physically in the church. We would like to welcome all Bible trivia lovers to join the online quiz wherever you are every Sabbath, 3:00pm.
